Amazing Little Fountain I created a hanging fountain using an old hanging planter and a dollar store dish. The solar fountain sprays continuously in the sunshine but still spurts in the shade and I actually keep it in the shade so the dish doesn't empty. (The photo shows the diminished spray in the shade.) This fountain works so well and if the dish runs dry you just remove the wee filter from the bottom of the fountain and give it a shake and a clean and it starts humming again which means it's ready to go back into a full water container. I love this versatile solar fountain!
Just what I was looking for! I have wanted a fountain for my bird baths for quite some time but the fountains at the bird specialty stores are very expensive. I was thrilled to find this one and it works great (just has to be in direct sun to work) plus it comes with a variety of fountain heads to use. My sister liked it so much that she got one for her bird bath.
